Lynell is a Principal with AJ Park Law, Wellington and has particular expertise in indigenous law and protection of cultural icons. She will visit the Wellington Campus to discuss why open knowledge concepts are not consistent with mātauranga Māori, kaitiaki rights and responsibilities in relation to mātauranga Māori, and why it is important that Aotearoa continues to work towards a framework that is consistent with te ao Māori principles.
