John Young Memorial Scholarship

Applications are invited from students who are immediate family members of Fonterra suppliers that live in the Taranaki region. Applicants will be New Zealand citizens or New Zealand permanent residents and intend to take up a career or be engaged in some occupation or profession relevant to the dairy industry. The level of individual grants paid is dependent on the number of successful applicants and range from $2000-$5000. The grants will be paid in a one-off lump sum payment.

Massey University Statistics Scholarship

Open to students who are enrolled full time, and who meet the 100 level majoring requirements in Statistics at Massey University (Manawatu Campus), applicants must indicate in his/her letter of application a desire to continue his/her study of statistics.

Massey University Undergraduate Scholarship

Available to students enrolled full-time or part-time internally or extramurally for undergraduate studies at Massey University and have completed a minimum of 120 credits at Massey University.

Meat Industry Scholarships

Six undergraduate scholarships will be offered every year, with an award of $5000 a year for each year of study. In addition, part-time or vacation work in the meat industry may be offered. Four post-graduate scholarships will be offered with an award of $10,000 a year for each year of study. In addition, part-time or vacation work in the meat industry may be offered.

The Piki Ake Kake Ake Scholarship

Piki ake kake ake is a metaphorical term in te reo Māori that means to climb and to ascend. In the context of this scholarship, piki ake kake ake symbolises the hopes and aspirations of tangata whenua, by assisting four Māori students to excel in the disciplines of communication management, expressive arts, journalism, linguistics, marketing, media studies and public relations. The School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing and the School of English and Media Studies wish to assist and support Māori students to be successful.
