I am an empirical researcher at the School of Economics and Finance. I received my PhD from ANU in 2014 and previously held appointments at the Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance in Bangladesh and the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy.
I am interested in studying issues related to public economics, labour economics and development economics, with a particular focus on household consumption. I have published articles in reputed journals such as Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Energy Economics, Agricultural Economics, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Economic Record.
