Study abroad scholarships and fees

Multiple Explore New Zealand Scholarships are available for our National Expedition and Internship tracks.  The NZ $500 scholarships will be applied to the fee for the track you choose to attend.

Global Student-Athlete

Accelerator Scholarships can be used for any of our Global Student-Athlete tracks.  A range of scholarships of up to NZ $750 are available.

Multiple Scholarships for U.S. citizens and permanent residents, STA Travel, and Education New Zealand have teamed up to offer a $15,000 scholarship toward a semester of study in New Zealand. Massey University is also offering $1,000 scholarships through GoOverseas.

Massey University and Education New Zealand are also offering $2,000 and $500 scholarships to support Generation Study Abroad students from the USA.

Funding for German students

IEC Online and Deutsche Bildung have partnered to offer EUR 3,000 - 30,000 in funding for German students to study here.  The financial support programme is available for study abroad and full-degree students.

Study Abroad fee

Massey's study abroad programme has a fixed tuition fee based on a normal full-time course load of 60 credits of study per semester for undergraduate or postgraduate study.

2020 programme fee:  NZ $12,070

Please note:

  • The fee is quoted in New Zealand dollars and includes Goods and Services Tax.
  • A transcript being sent to your home institution or third-party provider at the end of the semester is included in the fee.
  • The fee does not include non-tuition fees, course component fees, insurance, textbooks and supplies, or living expenses.
  • Course component fees, if applicable, are listed in the course descriptions and are payable at the start of the semester.
  • The programme fee remains the same if you enrol in less than 60 credits.
