Hosting an intern through the National Expedition and Internship

Massey University has close relationships with a range of business and organisations who host our student interns.  We add new placement sites as the National Expedition and Internship expands.  Please review the following information if you would like to be considered as a potential host organisation.

Programme structure

The National Expedition and Internship is a study abroad programme offering undergraduate international students, primarily from the United States, the opportunity to explore, learn and engage with New Zealand culture and industry. It is made up of a two-week study tour of New Zealand, a four-week internship placement, and online course work.

Students enrol in one of two separate tracks, based on what they are studying at their overseas institution.  The six-week tracks run between the beginning of June and the beginning of August.
