How to apply

The application process involves two stages. First, we need to approve you for admission into the programme.  We will then enrol you in our courses and match you with an internship placement. You must complete the admission part of the process before your enrolment can be confirmed.

Step 1

Check that you meet the entry requirements for the program

Apply by 15 March

A complete application is made up of four documents.  All four are needed by 15 March.

Document 1 - The Study Abroad and Student Exchange Application.  Page 1 lists the supporting documents that are required, such as your transcript and proof of citizenship.  In Part H, check National Expedition and Internship and select the track you want to attend.

Document 2 - Your resume or CV as a PDF.

Document 3 - The appropriate Internship Placement Form.

Document 4 - Scanned copy of the personal information page of your valid passport.

Email all three documents to  We will acknowledge we received your completed application, usually within one working day of receipt.

Step 3

Receive an Offer of Place

You will receive an Offer of Place by email once you are academically approved.  This is usually within five to seven working days, but please allow for more time during busy periods.

Step 4

Accept your Offer of Place

Confirm your intention to enrol and agree to the terms and conditions of study by accepting the Offer of Place through your Student Portal.  Your offer will list the fee you will have to pay on 23 March.

Step 5

Receive a Confirmation of Place

We will confirm your place on the programme on 23 March.  Your formal acceptance and payment are due once you receive our confirmation. We will issue the Receipt of Payment after we receive your formal acceptance and payment. You will also receive information about your internship placement and online orientation.

You can book your flights and apply for your visa and Electronic Travel Authority after you receive your Receipt of Payment.  Please see our FAQs for more information about these items.

Step 6

Enrol in courses

We will notify you about enrolment into your courses once we issue your Receipt of Payment.
