31 experts discuss how NZ can tackle issues and lead the way in the green revolution
Our natural resources of land, water and air support our livelihood, lifestyle and biodiversity. The Institute of Agriculture and Environment provides teaching, research and services to find the right balance between agricultural production and long-term environmental sustainability.
Our courses focus on the development of sustainable land-based primary industries, and on understanding and managing the geodiversity and biodiversity of New Zealand’s ecosystems.
Our wide-ranging expertise enables multi-disciplinary research into economic and environmental ecosystems, from the most intensive farming and horticulture to eco-tourism and wildlife conservation.
Our staff work in collaboration with iwi on research including environmental management, volcanic risk assessment and species and ecosystem conservation in New Zealand.
