It is important that the subjects of research are protected. The means of achieving this is the university Human Ethics approval process. This presentation will explain the ethical principles of conducting human research, and explore the boundaries within which human interactions can occur with and without ethics approval.
This presentation provides a brief overview of Māori Research Ethics. It focuses particularly on what constitutes ethical research and its importance. Furthermore, it presents various Māori ethical considerations and situates research ethics within the university context.
