A two day course held at the Albany campus gave insights into new models and strategies for working with whānau.
Outlining the latest developments in areas such as risk and protective factors for whānau wellbeing and converting a crisis to positive whānau planning.
New tools to assist developing profiles and plan intervention strategies and measure outcomes were discussed. All presentations have been printed in the course material handouts. In addition, findings of the four workshops are summarised below.
Workshop 1 - the overall purpose was to consider the significance of positive whānau development by examining one or other of the six key outcome goals. Each group had a specific task.
