Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (Rehabilitation) is designed for students who have a Bachelor of Health Science or equivalent and wish to pursue their studies at an advanced level. Students may already be working in the area of health, disability or rehabilitation, or may desire to pursue a career in these areas.
This programme offers you an in depth look at rehabilitation theory and practice, rehabilitation counselling, advocacy and vocational services. It is goal focused – you will learn about working with individuals experiencing injury, disability and/or social disadvantage. You will study theories and practice to help them achieve their occupational, personal and social goals. You will work on their strengths and facilitate inclusion and quality of life in their communities and work environments.
