How to remove yellow triangle on my Polycom desk

If you have recently noticed a yellow triangle appear on your desk phone, you will need to do the following to fix it:

NOTE: This process works only with Windows based computers which has the Lync software installed and the Polycom desk phone plugged to your computer via a USB cable.

  1. Click the Menu button
  2. Scroll to Switch User
  3. Press Select
  4. Press Yes when you see the following:

    "Do you want to sign out the current user and sign in a different user?"

  5. Your desk phone will sign out with "USB connection is detected" on your screen
  6. Your Lync software will log out with the following screen displayed asking for your Massey Network Password

  7. Enter your password
  8. Click OK
  9. Once your phone has signed in, select Done
