Voice mail from your desk phone

NOTE: There are 2 kinds of greetings you can set for your voice mail:

  1. A standard voice mail greeting used to answer your phone when you are not at your desk
  2. An away greeting (extended greeting when you are away from the office (similar to an out of office message via email)

To Record Greeting Messages From your Desk Phone:

  1. Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the Menus to: Voice Mail
  2. Press the OK button (round button between the arrow buttons)
  3. Press the button below Call Voice Mail (on the screen)
  4. Wait and then follow the prompts. Say “Personal Options
    OR if you prefer to use the number pad on your phone:
    i. Press 6
    ii. Press 0
    iii. Press 6
  5. Press 2 to record your personal greetings
  6. i. Press 1 to record your personal greeting
    ii. Press 2 to record an Away Greeting (extended greeting for when you're out of the office)
    iii. Press 3 to record your name
  7. Follow the voice prompts to record your message(s)

To turn on/off your away voice mail messages:

NOTE: By default, unanswered calls go to voice mail after 20 seconds. Your standard personal greeting will be played. If you want to turn on/off your extended/away greeting

  1. Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the menus to: Voice Mail
  2. Press the OK button (round button between the arrow buttons)
  3. Press the button below Call Voice Mail (on the screen)
  4. Wait and then follow the prompts. Say “Personal Options
    OR if you prefer to use the number pad on your phone:
    i. Press 6
    ii. Press 0
    iii. Press 6
  5. Press 1 to turn on your away greeting
    OR if it is already on:
    i. Press 1 to turn it off
  6. Your current greeting will be played for you
    i. Press 1 if you want to keep the current greeting
    ii. Press 2 if you want to record a new greeting

Check your Voice Mail

NOTE: There are 2 kinds of greetings you can set for your voice mail:

From microsoft outlook

If you are using Microsoft Outlook, when you receive a voice mail message, you will receive an email in your Outlook Inbox. The voice message will come in the form of an attachment. Click on either of the play buttons on the email.



From your desk phone

  1. Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the menus to: Voice Mail
  2. Press the OK button (round button between the arrow buttons)
  3. Press the button below Call Voice Mail (on the screen)
  4. Follow the prompts (Say Voice Mail when prompted)
