Choose presenters for the meeting

Only presenters can share content and manage meeting options. You can determine who will be a presenter before the meeting or promote anyone to presenter during the meeting. The organizer can also make everyone an attendee during the meeting.

We recommend:

  • Limiting presenters for formal presentations.
  • Making everyone a presenter for collaborative meetings, like team meetings.

Choose presenters before the meeting

  1. Create a New Online Meeting in your Outlook calendar.
  2. Open the Meetings tab, then open Meeting Options.
  3. Tick the check box Customize access and presenters for this meeting.
  4. Select your preference in the Presenters section.
  5. Tick the Remember Settings check box, then OK to save these settings and exit Meeting Options.

Please note that these changes will cause a new random meeting link and Conference ID to be generated for this meeting, and you will not be able to use your allocated meeting link and Conference ID.

During the meeting, right-click on the attendees name, then select Make a Presenter from the menu.

  1. Open the People options menu.
  2. Select Make Everyone an Attendee.
