New information following the change in COVID-19 alert levels. massey.ac.nz/coronavirus

Choose presenters for the meeting

Only presenters can share content and manage meeting options.

We recommend:

  • Limiting presenters for formal presentations. If you change your mind, you can make everyone a Presenter during the meeting.
  • Making everyone a presenter for collaborative meetings, like team meetings. If you change your mind, you can make everyone an attendee during the meeting.

You can not choose to promote individuals to Presenters during the meeting in the Lync 2011 client for Mac. You must choose Presenters when scheduling the meeting, or choose to make everyone or no one a Presenter during the meeting.

Choose presenters before the meeting

  1. Create a New Online Meeting in your Outlook calendar.
  2. Click the small down arrow next to the Online Meeting icon. Select Set Access and Permissions to open Meeting Options.
  3. Tick the check box Customize access levels, presenter options, and phone settings.
  4. Select the Presenter tab. Select your preference from the drop down menu.
  5. Tick the Remember Settings check box if you would like to use these settings in future, then OK to save and exit Meeting Options.

Set access and permissions

Please note that these changes will cause a new and random meeting link and Conference ID to be generated for this meeting, and you will not be able to use your static meeting link and Conference ID.
