New information following the change in COVID-19 alert levels.

I'm having trouble signing in on the mobile app

When signing in, make sure that you've opened up the Advanced settings and entered your Massey credentials.

Massey staff should sign in with their Massey email address (e.g. and password, and select Advanced Settings to add their Massey credentials: MASSEY\username (e.g. MASSEY\jsmith).

Error message: We can’t verify the certificate from the server. Please contact your support team.

  1. Disconnect from your Massey University wireless network and connect again. You should be prompted to install the Massey University SHA-256 security certificate.
  2. On an iOS device, you can check to see if this certificate has been successfully installed by going into SettingsGeneral and scrolling down to Profiles. If you don’t see Profiles, the certificate has not been installed.
  3. If you do see Profiles, tap the certificate listed (should be Massey University Issuing CA) and tap More Details.
  4. Check the Signature Algorithm. The Algorithm should be SHA-256. If it is SHA-1, you will receive the certificate error listed above.

Error message: Can’t connect to the server. It may be busy or temporarily unavailable. Please try again.

This is due to a slow connection. Restarting the device and reconnected to the wireless network seems to help.
