Connect to a network printer (FollowMe) Mountain Lion

 Follow the steps in this guide to connect your Mac to the FollowMe print queue.

Printing can be collected from any printer. A list of print jobs will be displayed when you swipe your ID card, or enter your Massey credentials using the touch panel.You have 24 hours from the time that you submit the print request from your computer. After 24 hours, it is removed from the printing servers and you will need print again.

Fuji Xerox Driver install ApeosPort 5575

  • Download the driver from the Fuji Xerox website
  • The driver will download to the downloads folder.
  • Double click the disk image to begin installation
  • Right click (Control click) the Fuji Xerox PS Plug-in Installer and select open. If you receive the warning below please click open
  • Proceed through the install


You will be prompted for your username and password to complete the install. If you do not have Administrator rights on your machine you will not be able to complete the install. In this case please contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance on ext 82111.

  • Click Close to to exit the driver installer

To add a printer

  • Open System Preferences via the Apple menu in the top left hand corner of your screen
  • Open Print & Scan

  • Click the + and select Add Printer or Scanner...

  • Select the IP tab and type in the information as in image below entering the correct FollowMe queue for the Campus you are on in the Address: field. The queue for all devices is followme.

  • In the Use menu item click Select Printer Software
  • In the search field type '5575' and then choose FX ApeosPort-IV C5575
  • Click OK then Add
  • Select the options below to give you all the features available at some printers, then OK

  • The Follow Me driver has now been installed and the printer setup
