We recommend all postgraduate and undergraduate students attend semester two orientation. There will be lots of events and workshops at our Auckland campus.

PaCE academic orientation

Compulsory for all new students CURRENTLY IN NZ studying Certificate of Foundation Studies (CFS) & Certificate of University Preparation (CUP), Foundation Certificate in Academic English (DEEP) & Foundation Certificate in Advanced Academic English (Adv DEEP) courses.

A formal welcome to Massey University including welcome addresses from the Deputy Vice Chancellor Students & Alumni and the Albany Students’ Association. This will be followed by some short introductory presentations and a campus tour.

Master of Management welcome

The Welcome sessions for Master of management students include information about career support, counselling services, library resources, study-up and online workshops available at Massey. MBS Faculty will introduce their respective specialisations and courses to familiarize students with content and context.

Ignite! - Massey Business School


Ignite is the Massey Business School (MBS) on-campus orientation event. We encourage all new undergraduate students enrolled in the following programmes to attend: Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Communication, Bachelor of Sport Management, Bachelor of Applied Economics, Bachelor of Retail and Business Management, Diploma and Certificate in Business Studies. This is a great opportunity to meet your lecturers and fellow students and learn what studying with the MBS is all about. It’s your chance to get a head start on what you’ll need to succeed in your study with us - we look forward to meeting you!
