Starting university

Welcome to Massey!  We hope that you enjoy your time with us.  Starting university and settling in to study routines can take a little bit of time.  It is important that you take the time early in the semester to ensure you are all set up and have good study routines in place.   This section gives you a few hints and tips about things you can do before joining us, as well as things you can do in your first few weeks of study.

If you have any questions or you're not sure of something, Student Success Advisers are available on each campus to help.

Orientation programmes

Orientation.jpg Orientation programmes run on all campuses and if you're a distance student you have the option attend one at a campus near you or use the online orientation course in Stream.  Find out about orientation dates, venues and programme information.

University skills programmes

Study_Group1.jpg Courses are available that provide you with the opportunity to brush up on your academic and study skills in preparation for university study. Find out about our university skills programmes.
