The JET Programme is a fully-paid overseas employment opportunity from the government of Japan that allows Kiwis to live and work in Japan for a year or more. Participants work either as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), or Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs). No teaching experience, Japanese language ability, or overseas experience is required to apply to the Programme, and there is no age restriction.

The Latin America Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (LACAPE) is offering a funded short term programme at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, from the 7th-15th December.
The programme will see participants take six block courses and visit four Brazilian companies. There will be a case study competition where each team will present their idea to a panel of professors and company managers from the relevant industry. Students will be split into teams of 4 (2xNZ and 2xBrazil). The winning two teams will receive flights for their Brazilian teammates to come to NZ in 2020, where the top two teams will participate in a business accelerator programme to work on their idea.
