Level of Study
To support students to pay their tuition fees.
The Peter Densem Postgraduate Scholarship was established in 2017 by Mr Peter Densem for the purpose of supporting students at Massey University who have already completed the first year of a postgraduate programme (PhD or Masters) in the discipline of Agriculture or Horticulture. Mr Densem wishes to support talented, high achieving students who would otherwise struggle to pay for their study.

The value of the scholarship is determined each year from the interest earned on the capital. In recent years this has been $5,000.
The scholarship is awarded for one year, but doctoral recipients are encouraged to reapply again in subsequent years.

The scholarship is awarded by the University Scholarships Committee on the recommendation of the Applied Academic Programmes Scholarships Committee, College of Sciences.
