Zoe Port BBS (Hons), AFHEA

Assistant Lecturer

School of Management

Deputy Director of the Bachelor of Business

Massey Business School - Deputy PVC's Office

Having previously held a number of roles in the field of human resources, I chose to return to postgraduate study with a particular goal of conducting research that would contribute to making New Zealand workplaces safer. I was fortunate to be welcomed into the Healthy Work Group in Massey's School of Management in 2016 while completing my Honours year.

I am currently undertaking my PhD, which is exploring the experiences of those holding multiple jobs in New Zealand - with specific reference to their experiences of the psychosocial work envrionment and associated outcomes. Alongside this, I have been involved in a number of other research projects with my Healthy Work Group colleagues, mainly focusing on the are aof psychosocial risk. I have presented much of this research overseas, including at the International Labout Organisation (ILO) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

Alongside this as an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Management, I am currently the course coordinator for 115.115 Management in Context, Massey's core first year management paper. Teaching this crucial core paper provides a rewarding opportunity to interact with Massey's future business graduates, and I enjoy being able to enhance course content by sharing my own recent experience as a business graduate working in the industry.

I am an Assistant Lecturer in Massey's School of Management, currently teaching on a number of first year papers. I enjoy juggling these teaching duties with completing my PhD, which is focused on exploring the experiences of those who hold multiple jobs.
