Using a computer from work or an internet cafe

If the computer is not your own personal computer, you may not have the administration rights to download and install software or change settings. This could cause a problem with Flash, Cookies, or Javascript, for example. In this scenario, it is best to talk directly to the IT person responsible for the computer.

You should be able to access Forums and the main content of your course with no problem, but certain functions may not be possible if you are using a 'public' computer and cannot change settings.
