This programme is only available to candidates who have approved employment in the New Zealand dairy industry.
Admission to the Master of Dairy Science and Technology requires you have been awarded or qualified for either a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, Bachelor of Science with Honours, a Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours, or equivalent and have approved employment in the New Zealand dairy industry to facilitate the requirements of courses 141.751 Dairy Products Technical Projects and 141.848 Dairy Science and Technology Research Project.

You will follow a course of study, which will consist of courses totalling 120 credits, comprising all courses from the Schedule below.
Students who complete within one year of first enrolling for full-time study or within three years of first enrolling for part-time study may be eligible for Distinction.
All requirements must be completed within four years.
These regulations should be read in conjunction with all other Statutes and Regulations of the University including the General Regulations for Postgraduate Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Postgraduate Certificates
