Log In and Out of a Desk Phone

Log in to a desk phone

  1. Welcome message will be displayed on the phone asking, if you have a computer available to simplify setup and enable all features on this phone?
  2. Select No
  3. Enter your Lync extension number (5 digits)
  4. Select Next
  5. Enter your PIN
  6. Select Sign In
    The phone will now display a signing in status screen which will first say Connecting to Lync Server and will then switch to Authentication completed
  7. At the congratulations screen, press Next to finish setting up the phone
  8. Press Next
  9. Choose the correct time zone - Auckland, Wellington
  10. Choose the second date format - ddd,dd/MM (Thu, 26/09)
  11. Press Next
  12. Choose 12 or 24 hour clock format
  13. Press Next
  14. Press Done
    The phone setup is complete

Log out of a Desk Phone

  1. Press Menu
  2. Scroll to Switch User
  3. Press Select
  4. Do you want to sign out of the current user and sign in a different user?
    Press Yes
  5. The phone should now sign you out and the Welcome message will be displayed again
