Setting your Lync Pins

Currently at Massey, Lync users may have two types of pins.

For security reasons we ask that you set your own pins. Please follow the instructions below that correspond to the pin you want to set/reset:

Logging onto a Lync Desk Phone

NOTE: The first time you use your desk phone, you need to follow these steps and setup your pin.

  1. Read these instructions in full or print these instructions as you will need to refer back to them after clicking the link below.
  2. Go to:
  3. Click the Sign In link on the page listed above.
  4. Login with your Massey network login and password (with MASSEY\ before your login name) User name:          MASSEY\jebloggs Password:            *********

Accessing your Voice Mail from a mobile phone or phone outside Massey.

  1. Log into
  2. Click on the Options menu (top right corner of the screen)
  3. Select See all options
  4. Select Phone (down right hand column)
  5. Click Reset my voice mail PIN...
  6. Select OK
  7. An email will then be sent to you in Outlook with a new Pin.
