Check the time you need to prepare for your ceremony. Please be seated in the Regent Theatre at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. You will receive a briefing prior to the commencement of the ceremony.
Note to parents: these ceremonies can be more than one and a half hours in length; younger children may find it difficult to sit still for this time.
A graduation help desk is located in the Regent Theatre foyer and is available one hour prior to each ceremony for assistance with graduation enquiries and seating requests.
A complimentary copy of the Graduation Programme will be distributed to Graduands during the ceremony.
Limited copies of the Graduation Programme will be available in the Regent Theatre foyer for friends and family at $5.00 per copy.
You will receive a notification in your student portal when your seat tickets are available to download. Please ensure you print these tickets and bring them with you on the day of graduation.
You can request additional tickets through your student portal anytime before 12 April, after this date please contact the Contact Centre.
If you have seating enquiries, please telephone 0800 MASSEY (0800 627739) between 8.30am - 5.00pm.
Unfortunately, due to some graduation ceremonies having limited guest seats available, we can not guarantee graduands will be able to have the number of seats they request.
If you or your guests lose their seat tickets or have ticket problems, please report to the graduation help desk in the main foyer of the Regent Theatre at least an hour before the ceremony.
The audience is requested to rise as the academic and official procession enters the theatre at the commencement of the ceremony.
Please ensure all mobile phones are turned off or are put on silent before entering the Regent Theatre.
The whole ceremony will be broadcast live via the University's website massey.ac.nz keyword search: graduation live, and will be available immediately after the ceremony via permanent videos on YouTube: youtube.com/masseyuniversity.
This enables your family, whānau and friends to celebrate your success from anywhere in the world.
